KPAC COVID-19 Response

Dear Valued Customer,


In response to the dynamic COVID-19 ( coronavirus) situation, this letter is to update you on the initiatives Konoike-Pacific California, Inc has implemented to protect our two most important assets, our employees and customer's products. I have engaged our senior leadership team to ensure we are taking all appropriate measures to protect our team members, prevent the spread of illness and strengthen continuity of operations.


Outlined below are immediate measures we have put in place across our entire network:

Prevention

  • Implementing advanced sanitation efforts at all distribution centers, including hand sanitation stations at all entry points of facilities

  • Promoting frequent hand washing and sanitizing for all individuals entering distribution centers

  • Visually monitoring team member health and encouraging individuals to self-quarantine if they are experiencing flu-like symptoms

  • Requiring a doctor's note for team members in order to return to work

  • Suspending all nonessential travel (both internationally and domestically) until further notice. Any essential travel will be closely monitored, and those employees will be required to follow strict company guidelines before returning to work

  • Limiting visitation to all distribution centers for only essential needs

  • Providing ongoing communication to our entire workforce

Preparation/Business Continuity

  • Updating our Emergency Action Plan to provide additional procedures for dealing with COVID-19

  • Monitoring and tracking facility capacity throughout our network

  • Closely monitoring port operations for material change in outbound or inbound volume Monitoring attendance throughout the network to quickly respond to any adverse developments

  • Working with customers to develop contingency plans including utilizing capacity at additional facilities

  • Providing the most up-to-date information to our commercial team so they can convey any changes or added concerns
